The Holocaust/Genocide Project (HGP),originating at Cold Spring Harbor High School, New York, formerly on i*EARN, is an independent, international, nonprofit, telecommunications project focusing on study of the Holocaust, genocides, and current events. The purpose of the HGP is to promote education and awareness, and to encourage the application of this knowledge in a way which makes a positive difference in the world. The HGP welcomes all students -- Age 12 and up -- and teachers, internationally.
The HGP involves participating schools around the world, including schools and organizations in Argentina, Australia, Belarus, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Canada, Germany, Herzegovina, India, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Lithuania, Macedonia, Netherlands, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Russia, Sierra Leone, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Thailand, Uganda, Ukraine, United States, and West Africa.
